Thank you! I’m glad that my one month itinerary in Greece is helping you to plan your trip.

For stages 2 to 6 of this itinerary, you can do it in the order I suggested or reverse everything (from 6 to 2).

Start with 6 (the meteors), visit Delphi and then do the Peloponnese.

I love the idea of renting a car from the Athens airport and seeing some of the sights. I am planning a trip and the first 5 days I plan to arrive and rent a car. I would like to drive to numbers 2 – 6 on the itinerary, return to the airport and fly to Rhodes, then Crete, Santorini, Amorgos for diving, and back to Athens for the last 6 days to see the city sites before leaving, YOUR POST HAS BEEN SOOO HELPFUL! Thank you!!
My question is, because we have to return to the airport to catch a flight to Rhodes, which order is best to follow 2 – 6. I was thinking of going the further the first day and returning stop by stop. Could you outline that for me? and Does that make sense? Thanks! Our flight out of Athens is at 19:00 to Rhodes

I can’t give you a budget for this one month itinerary in Greece. It depends on too many things: the period of your trip (in summer the prices are higher), the category of hotels, the activities you choose to do…
Depending on that, the budget can vary from simple to quadruple at least!

You can however easily calculate by yourself according to your dates of stay.
You just have to click on the green buttons or the orange links throughout the article to see the rates for:
– car rentals
– hotels
– activities
– ferry crossings.
