Hello,

Thank you!
From Corte, you can easily visit several places in Northern Corsica: Calvi, Ile Rousse, Saint Florent and the Agriates desert, Cap Corse and Bastia.

You will find all the best things to do in these cities in my other articles. You can find them here: all my articles about Corsica.

Enjoy your trip to Corsica!

Hello! I am so appreciative of your knowledge of Corsica. My husband and I are visiting Corsica April 17 - ? (we are form Northern California). We are open to 6 or 7 days, then want to go to the Riviera. We will be initally staying in Corte as our son is going to the university there and we are finally visiting him! He wants to show us around the city, but he doesn't know much about the rest of Corsica. Do you feel we should focus on the north or south?

In reply to Julie Smalley.

Hello Julie,

Thank you very much!

For your one week itinerary in Corsica, if you only want 3 accommodations, you should take:
- A hotel in Calvi for the first part of your stay (2 hours drive from Bastia).
- A hotel in Zonza for 2 nights (as you wished in your comment).
- An accommodation in Bonifacio for the rest of your stay.

For your 7 days in Corsica, as you will take your return flight from Figari, it's better to do it in that order than to end your stay in Zonza.

You may not realise it but in Corsica the roads are narrow and winding. It really takes time to get from one place to another.
For example, from Calvi to Zonza, there are 200 km and at least 4 hours of driving.
That's why normally for a week in Corsica, it's better to do either the North or the South.

For the visits, beaches and hikes, you can find them all in my other articles, just here:

Thanks for all the great information. Loved reading about it. We are flying into Bastia on the 21st of September and our of Figari on the 29th. Can you recommend an itinerary for those days basing in two different places with activities in between. Loved your ideas for hikes and beaches and places to stay. We want to combine north and south but don't want to stay one night in each place. Would rather do 3-4 nights or 3 nights in each place and then the last two in Zona.
