Just back from Corsica with a 1 day visit to Bonifacio. We followed your 1 day itinerary and it worked perfectly. We would have missed half of what you suggested by just walking round ourselves.

It’s very complicated to visit Corsica without a car because there are very few bus routes and they only connect the main towns.

For example, from Bonifacio, you can go to Porto-Vecchio, Ajaccio and Corte. But even to get to Porto-Vecchio, which is close to Bonifacio, there are only 3 outward journeys a day.
And the buses don’t get you to the beaches or the start of the hiking trails.
