Hi Julie,

As I say in the article, if you want a hotel near the Gold and Perfume Souks, you can stay in the Deira district.
You’ll find all my hotel suggestions for this district in the article.

From the souks, the Dubai Mall is a 20-minute cab ride or 40 minutes by public transport.
You can visit the souks in the morning and the Dubai Mall in the afternoon.

Just wondering what are the hotels to stay at that are in walking distance to the gold and perfume souks or are they not close together? We only have one full day in Dubai and would like to see those and also do Dubai Mall. So bit unsure best area to stay.
