Thank you, interesting to read. But 1 question – if i go by a car to the one of the entrances of Zingaro park to do the Coastal trail, and go the whole hike trail of 7 km to the other end, how do i get back to the starting point/to my car? Should i once again go the same 7 km?

Hello Antonia,

There is not much to do in Scopello except visit the Zingaro nature reserve and go to the beach.
And without a car, it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to visit the surroundings as there is no public transport and hardly any taxis (and they are very expensive).

Boat rentals are available from Castellammare del Golfo (10 km south of Scopello).

Yes, you can walk down to the beach from the B&B Talia.

Hello Michael,

That’s right, if you want to go from Trapani to Scopello by bus, you have to pass by Castellammare del Golfo.

The best way to get updated information on bus timetables is to check with the tourist office in Trapani.

I would like to go to Scopello by bus from Trapani and was told I have to go via Castellmare del Golfo but there does not seem to be a bus going there in the morning….please help….

Hi Tony,

I don’t think you are allowed to enter the Zingaro reserve on a bicycle (even if you walk alongside it).
On the official website, it says “the introduction of any type of vehicle is prohibited”.

Hi Vincent,
Are bicycles allowed on the walking track connecting the south and north entrance. I imagine you cannot cycle, but is walking your bicycle allowed? We are planning a 6 day cycle tour of the northern coast in June 22.

If you’re talking about booking the entrance to the Zingaro, it’s not possible to book it in advance. You will have to buy it directly on site.

But maybe you were talking about booking something else?
