In reply to Jan. Hello Jan, Thanks a lot! Are you referring to the Selvaggio Blu trek, which allows you to cover the entire Gulf of Orosei on foot? Because if so, I really recommend you take a guide to do it. It's a very difficult trail, and you'll need climbing gear too, as there are some abseiling passages. And there's no drinking water on the way. Even with a guide, supplies are provided by boat. And there's no refuge, so you have to set up camp every night. Alternatively, you can do slightly less strenuous day hikes and return to the starting point afterwards. I was wondering for the possibility to do trekking in the Gulf of Orosei. As far as I understand there are some shelters where people can stay over, is this the case?
From my understanding, it is not allowed to pitch a tent, yet are there any options for people who enjoy outdoors?

To find out whether you can drop anchor for the night, you need to ask the company where you are going to charter the boat directly.

For Cala Goloritze, boats must stay 300 metres off the beach.

I am considering renting a small boat in Cala Gonone or Santa Maria di Navaresse for two days. Do you know if it is possible to anchor/mooring ball in either place. I would spend one day going in one direction, spend the night and then return the next day.
Also are there places at Cala Goloritze to tie up and swim to the beach?

Hello Nikola,

For zodiac rental in Santa Maria di Navaresse, you have this rental company which is well rated and has good reviews on Google “Noleggio Gommoni Santa Maria Navarrese”.
However, they don’t have a website, just a phone number: +39 331 806 5019.
You can try to contact them on whatsapp.

As I rented my boat to visit the Gulf of Orosei in Cala Gonone, I didn’t test their service.

In Cala Gonone, I booked with “Excursioni Cala Gonone”. They have a booth directly on the port.
But honestly, you can rent your boat at any agency located on the port (there are at least 10 different ones and they all have the same conditions and prices).

In Santa Maria, the options seem to be more limited unfortunately.

We would love to visit Gulf of Orosei, but we haven’t found the boat trips offers online. We would like to rent the 120€ zodiac boat so we can drive ourselfs.
Do you have any links or recommended boat rent agencies?

*it would be great if you know some boat agencies in Santa Maria Navaresse
