Thank you for your VERY detailed and informative itinerary! Would you have any suggestions on best place to stay in Northern Sardinia for 6 people (age 60) to be a home base and just do day trips from there? We would like to do a slower pace and not have to change accommodations every 2-3 days. We will do 14 days and hope to do more sight-seeing in first 7 days and then relax and stay local in the last 7 days. We don’t want fancy hotels, beach location would be ideal. Not sure what region or town would be best.
