It’s the best area to discover the town’s main attractions on foot.
You should stay in this district:
- For a first time stay, as you’ll be close to everything.
- To explore the main landmarks easily, without needing transportation.
- If you love lively evenings, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.
This is the perfect area to see:
- Piazza Tasso, the main square and central hub of activity.
- Corso Italia, the primary shopping street, lined with boutiques and cafes.
- Sorrento Cathedral, with its impressive frescoes and marble work.
- Chiostro di San Francesco (Cloister of Saint Francis), a peaceful 14th-century cloister.
- Villa Comunale Park, offering beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the Bay of Naples.
