In Paros Town (Parikia)
Parikia is the capital and main port of Paros, making it a convenient and lively hub.
The town features a charming old town with classic Cycladic whitewashed houses and winding alleys, along with a bustling waterfront lined with restaurants and cafes.
It’s the best area if you want a mix of convenience, history, and local life.
You should stay in this district if you want:
- To be close to the ferry port for easy arrivals and departures.
- Excellent transport links to the rest of the island via the main bus hub.
- A lively atmosphere with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars.
- To explore historical sites within walking distance.
This is the perfect area to see:
- Panagia Ekatontapiliani, one of the most important Byzantine churches in Greece, also known as the “Church of 100 Doors”.
- The Frankish Castle (Kastro), built from the remains of an ancient temple, offering great views of the sea.
- The Old Town’s labyrinthine streets, perfect for discovering hidden shops and cafes.
- The Archaeological Museum of Paros, housing artifacts from the island’s long history.
- Livadia Beach, the main beach of Parikia, offering a long stretch of sand with many amenities.

- Akrotiri Hotel: Built on a rocky headland across the bay, about a 20-minute walk from the center of Parikia. Rooms with sea views start from 180€. Strong points: stunning panoramic views of the sea, a lovely pool surrounded by gardens, peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
- Paros Palace: Situated on a hill with panoramic views of Parikia Bay. Modern suites, some with private pools, from 200€. Strong points: stunning views, beautiful main pool, quiet location yet close to town. A great option for a relaxing stay with a touch of luxury.
- Paros Agnanti Hotel: A 5-star resort located across the bay from Parikia, near Krios beach. Elegant rooms and suites starting from 250€, breakfast included. Strong points: large swimming pool, tennis court, sea views, and a free shuttle to town. This is simply one of the best luxury hotel in Paros!
In Naoussa and the North
Naoussa, located on the north coast, is a picturesque fishing village that has become the island’s most cosmopolitan and chic destination.
It’s known for its beautiful harbor, upscale restaurants, boutique shops, and vibrant nightlife.
Staying in Naoussa offers a more lively experience, perfect for those who enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere.
You should really stay in Naoussa if you want:

The East Coast of Paros is home to some of the island’s most famous beaches and charming small villages like Piso Livadi and Marpissa.
This area is particularly known for its long, sandy beaches.
You should stay on the East Coast:

- For a beach-focused holiday away from the main towns.
- If you are traveling with family, as many beaches have shallow waters.

The West Coast is quieter and less developed, known for its laid-back vibe and the small port of Pounta, which connects Paros to the neighboring island of Antiparos.
This area is the world capital for kitesurfing and offers beautiful sunsets and a more relaxed pace of life.
You should stay on the West Coast if you want:
- To go kitesurfing, as this is the best spot on the island.
- Easy access to the island of Antiparos for day trips.
- To enjoy beautiful, unspoiled beaches like Agia Irini.

- Aegean Village: Situated on the edge of Parikia, offering rooms and studios from 90€. Strong points: friendly staff, quiet location but still walkable to the center.
